- Develop components of reliability strategy for a work or plant area
- Communicate appropriate inspections, services and schedules to stakeholders
- Discuss any conflicts and seek resolution of conflicts
- Develop schedules in liaison with stakeholders
- Identify inspections and servicing which may be done by operations personnel in liaison with stakeholders
- Assess current practice for maintenance implications
- Evaluate procedures for equipment reliability implications
- Discuss current practices with stakeholders to determine equipment reliability implications
- Recommend changes to improve equipment reliability in accordance with procedures
- Assist in implementing the reliability strategy
- Identify training needs in discussion with key personnel
- Assist personnel to develop required skills for inspections and servicing within scope of authority
- Collect data and information as required by own work plan
- Compare data and information with performance indicators
- Recommend improvements to reliability strategy in accordance with procedures
