Elements and Performance Criteria

  1. Develop components of reliability strategy for a work or plant area
  2. Communicate appropriate inspections, services and schedules to stakeholders
  3. Discuss any conflicts and seek resolution of conflicts
  4. Develop schedules in liaison with stakeholders
  5. Identify inspections and servicing which may be done by operations personnel in liaison with stakeholders
  6. Assess current practice for maintenance implications
  7. Evaluate procedures for equipment reliability implications
  8. Discuss current practices with stakeholders to determine equipment reliability implications
  9. Recommend changes to improve equipment reliability in accordance with procedures
  10. Assist in implementing the reliability strategy
  11. Identify training needs in discussion with key personnel
  12. Assist personnel to develop required skills for inspections and servicing within scope of authority
  13. Collect data and information as required by own work plan
  14. Compare data and information with performance indicators
  15. Recommend improvements to reliability strategy in accordance with procedures
